I have copied the CD4060 part of the CMOS synthesizer in the link below to the letter, but it does not work. I am using a 12VDC SLA for supply. It tries to start when I tease the caps, but then dies. I want to make a behavioral model of a power supply controller (a vastly simplified UCC28060). I want to do things like trigger a one-shot whenever a voltage drops below zero. ...Why not experiment with it since you already have the setup? Try putting a 100k res in series and measure the voltage. Sweep up to 200VAC and see if the volage devates from 100VAC at the divider. I imagine if the liquid gets hot the resistance will change so you might try an ice bath. You could then try with and without the ice bath and find the... more »
