Sitemap OK, 451 URLs, but only 1 page indexed?

Hello, I submitted my sitemap a few weeks ago for [link]. Google Webmaster Tools is reporting that the Sitemap Status is OK and that 451 URLs were submitted. However, when i search on google for "site:[link]", the only result is the main page. Could anyone fathom why none of the other 450 URLs are shown?... more »

Why do good sites get deindexed from Google SERPs after adding a XML Sitemap?

I would like to know why even good sites that have plenty of quality inbound links get deindexed from Google SERPs immediately after adding a XML Sitemap. This kind of deindexing behavior with no explaination whatsoever about why sites get deindexed after adding a sitemap is a big shock for webmasters who work hard for months to build a site and suddenly see it... more »

Unreachable error 500 for an ASP.NET 2.0 site

Hi folks, I have created a site based on ASP.NET 2.0. I've added a the site and a sitemap to Google webmaster tool. But I'm continuously getting error 500 for the sitemap and a "We can't currently access your home page because of an unreachable error" for my home page. google does not seem to use my sitemap

I have created a forum in java, which generates a new sitemap everytime a new topic is posted. For each topic, I dynamically generate a new jsp page (so each topic has its onw file on my server) The sitemap contains all my topics and their filenames. I have over 400 topics, but google never indexes more than 135 topics.... more »
