We have them around here, and I've found them to be extremely tolerant of my
presence, even while fiddling around near their nest. Definitely less
dangerous than the African bees which are taking over the country.
Jon

Do you have a dishwasher and sink mounted vent pipe attached to the
disposal?
Is this a new install? Depending on the install directions, sometimes
you have to knock a plug out so things vent and water drains. I
learned about this "knock-out" piece after the dishwasher backed up
into both sinks. Lucky it was a 15 minute fix..

huh? rust is the metal changing into an oxide. both copper and aluminium
rust, forming copper oxide (green) and aluminim oxide (white). they just
don't rust orange like iron does.

Untrue. In a closed system, once all of the dissolved oxygen reacts with the
iron, no further oxidation will take place (unless additional oxygen is
introduced later).

As compared to copper or aluminum, which ... don't rust at all, actually.
Yeah, that's a pretty frequent occurrence, too, taking them out and stressing
the joints.
What planet did you grow up on?
That is one of the biggest advantages.

Lowes is typically the worst place to buy fasteners. Last I checked,
they were selling stainless steel screws for 10 times the price of the
local Ace store.
