Subject: Atkinson to address African Street Children & AIDS in May 2005
International educator and human rights activist Patrick Atkinson, the
founder and executive director of The GOD'S CHILD Project
(www.GodsChild.org), will speaking and working in Eastern and Southern
Africa during the last two weeks of May, 2005.

In Kenya, Mr. Atkinson will present on Street Children & AIDS to the
Mguvuli Group, as well as meet with different non-governmental groups
working in urban and rural settings.  He will be staying in Parklands
and can be contacted by additional individuals or groups.

In Tanzania, Mr. Atkinson will coordinate The GOD'S CHILD Project's
African efforts with different non-governmental groups working in urban
and rural settings in and around Dar Es Salaam.

In Malawi, Mr. Atkinson will base in Blantyre and is scheduled to do
field work with The GOD'S CHILD Project's efforts among rural women and
youth negatively affected by the AIDS epidemic, as well as to give a
series of interviews to Malawi's national newspaper, The Nation.
